Amanda Gips
Amanda has always loved to dance. She started ballet and tap dancing at the age of 4. When she got a bit older, she turned toward other fitness activities such as weight-lifting. Fitness was always a fundamental part of her life, but despite working out regularly, she felt that something was missing. On her hunt for a new and exciting activity, she discovered pole. In 2011, she took her first pole class on a whim, fell in love and never looked back. Soon into her training, she felt a strong desire to fully embrace the world of pole by pursuing other related goals. She started teaching pole in 2012 and then entered her first competition in 2013. Teaching has always been a source of immense joy for Amanda. Her favourite style to teach is Pole Classique, which challenges students to step outside of their comfort zone and access their sensual side. Through this style, she has gained so much self-confidence and wishes only to instill that in her students.
Amanda is a pole specialist and she teaches pole Classique at AcroPark. Follow Amanda on Instagram under @amandageee
